Purpose: Build strong, active, sustainable members, volunteers, interns, leadership pipeline, partnerships.
Bandung Africa is a Pan-African institution connecting leaders, professionals, students, entrepreneurs and citizens across the continent and the diaspora — building justice, sustainability, leadership and development from the ground up for the benefit of Africa and Africans. Our roots trace to the 1955 Bandung Conference and its founding spirit of solidarity across the Global South. Today, that spirit lives in our work across Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Somalia, the U.K, Geneva, Canada and the USA, under leadership that includes Hon. Judge Peter Herbert OBE, Yetunde Asika and Dr Myra Kalsy.
Membership is how you become part of our movement.
Most youth and civil-society organisations are local — one country, one issue, one network. Bandung is built differently: a Pan-African body with a presence in seven countries and growing, designed to move people, ideas and opportunities across borders, not just within them. Moving across the Global South as well as the Global North.
